This bass is on fire! This stunning Dingwall Z3 5-string features a premium Music Loft Select Poplar Burl top that is finished in Explosion Burst - a color we worked with Paul Hillacre at Dingwall Guitars to develop for some of our select builds. The combination of this top with this color is truly explosive! Dingwall never procures Poplar Burl, but when a few sets popped up, we jumped all over them. Unfortunately, 2 of those sets were deemed unusable by Dingwall, but we still had this top saved for when the right build came along - and this was the perfect build for this top! Below the Wenge contrast layer is a Dual-Density Northern Ash/Swamp Ash body finished in White Ceruse with a black grain fill. The Wenge neck is topped with a beautiful Ebony fretboard that is adorned with matching wood block inlays. The Dingwall Super Fatty II pickups feed into the Rupert Neve 2-band preamp with master tone and mini toggles for series/parallel switching per pickup. Finished off with Dunlop Flush Mount strap locks and the Hipshot Xtender key, this is truly an "everything" bass.
