From our good friends at the Mayones Custom Shop in Gdansk, Poland is this absolutely stunning Duvell Elite 6-String. Shown in Galaxy Eye Black RAW, this guitar features a 4A Eye Poplar top whose inclusions have not been filled - hence the "RAW" finish. And man, it is sooooo good on this particular guitar. The textures in the top are reminiscent of the Necronomicon. Now, don't be put off - this finish actually feels fantastic when you're playing it. We've included some detail photos showcasing the RAW finish, in case you're unfamiliar with how it is. Each guitar with a "RAW" finish will have a different texture dependingon the specific piece of wood used for that top. This gnarly top is paired with a beautiful Black Limba body, a 5pc Wenge/Purpleheart neck with a very dramatic 3A Pale Moon Ebony fretboard. The matching headstock adds a nice touch to the entire package, and continues the texture from the RAW finish. Loaded with Mayones' new Velvetrone pickups, this guitar has tone for days. From bright, cutting and agressive, to smooth and mellow - it covers all the grounds needed for most any style of music. Pull the volume knob up to split into single coils, and this guitar becomes very lively and spanky. Outfitted with a Hipshot bridge, Hipshot GripLock Locking Tuners, Ferd Wagner Stainless Steel frets, and Schaller Strap Locks, this guitar has all the goods to be stage and studio-ready right out of the box.
