Featuring a rare Burled Ash 10-Top over a Makore body, this bass is finished in MTD's Dark Amber Burst. Even in its natural state, this Burled Ash top was jaw-dropping. But we knew we wanted to add just a slight touch of color to really make the figure in this top "pop", especially with the stained-to-match wood knobs. The Ash neck is topped with a gorgeous Birdseye Maple fretboard, a matching headstock, and MTD's 30th Anniversary World Logo inlay on the headstock. This bass is outfitted with MTD's custom Bartolini pickups and preamp system, which provides an exceptional range of tones that are obtainable with ease. This particular bass has a very fast note response, very clear attack without any harshness, and the midrange on this bass is loaded with character. From aggressive and growly to mild and subdued, it's all there in the mid frequency control. This is an exceptional instrument for someone looking for the bass of a lifetime.
