2023 marks the 30th Anniversary of The Music Loft! To commemorate this special anniversary, we travelled up to the Spector USA factory to hand-select woods for a series of special custom builds. Each of these basses were meticulously spec'd and crafted to offer the best options and aesthetics possible from Spector USA, while retaining what has made Spector basses cherished worldwide.
This bass is extra special, as this particular set of Walnut Burl was the only Walnut set we chose for our 30th Anniversary builds. The end result proves that the choice of this set was a wise one. This bass is thick and growly in the low-end, very well balanced mids and tons of clarity and articulation. It's the full package! This bass was originally commissioned for our Buyer who oversees all of our custom builds, and he selected these specific pieces of wood for this bass to be everything you could ever hope for from a Spector, and then some! Upon arrival, it was clear that this bass had a sound that was very special. Once we plugged this bass in and dialed it in, that was proven in spades. This bass really has it all.
